Finally ~ after a month in Oregon, the Baumans are moving into a bigger place and getting all their “stuff” delivered from Michigan.  Out of the four deliveries on the truck, they had the biggest load (not surprised!).

My granddaughter Monica gathered some Oregon rocks and painted them with one of her favorite sayings “Live ~ Laugh ~ Love.”  Great words to live by!

My mom has been crocheting since she was 10.  A few years ago, she won a blue ribbon for this delicate doily at the Kalkaska (MI) County Fair.  It doesn’t show well in this photo, but it’s gorgeous!  (p.s. she tried to teach me a couple of times, but I’m totally all thumbs and just couldn’t catch on ~ darn it)

Love these suede mini-albums!  I printed out my digital scrapbook layouts to fit in these 2-1/2” x 3-1/2” pages ~ makes them easy to carry around.

My deal of the day ~ there was a link on SwagGrabber for 10 pairs of sunglasses for $9.99 ($15.98 total w/ shipping).  Since I have a habit of losing or breaking sunglasses, I couldn’t pass this one up!  (BTW, I totaled up the retail price of the 10 pairs and it came to $132.)

My favorite baskets ~ I bought these a long time ago at a local craft fair.  They’re perfect for the bathroom ~ one square for Kleenex, one round for hand towels.  I actually took some basket classes (forever ago), and I keep thinking I should try it again.  Maybe someday ….

Two of my favorite mags ~ Casino Player and Strictly Slots.  I love reading about the latest and greatest in the casino world ~ and there’s some great information on the players' clubs as well.  If I had unlimited funds (or won the lottery), I could become addicted.  Nothing to worry about there!

Just got my first delivery from alice ~ a great site for shopping and free delivery (as long as you buy 6 items).  Plus they add any coupons that are available.  I bought two Suave conditioners for 60 cents each.  I may never have to go to the store again!

My favorite magazine at the moment ~ Real Simple.  What drew me to this mag are the photographs ~ beautiful and simple.  The kind of photos I’d love to take.  Maybe if I continue this blog I’ll be able to come a little closer to doing just that.

Anyone need a zipper?  I started buying zippers in bulk on eBay when I got into making pouches, etc. for the shop.  I can’t believe how much cheaper it is that way ~ and I love digging into a rainbow of colors.

Got new shoes!  I’ve had my eye on these Skechers for a few months now and they finally went on sale ~ 30% off plus an extra 15% off for “Senior Days”.  I guess that’s one advantage of getting old(er).

I started collecting buttons, brads, ribbons and “stuff” when I was doing my scrapbooking on paper and this is part of my collection.  I really don’t know if I’ll ever use any of it, but it’s possible that I’ll need it for something ~ so I guess I’ll keep it (for now, at least).  Does that make me a pack rat?
