One of the challenges in the July portfolio at Sweet Shoppe Designs is to make a trinket box using a digital kit from the shoppe. I used the Happy Go Lucky kit by Kristin Cronin-Barrow because I loved the colors in it. I may even use the trinket box for something!
I decided to do a hybrid scrapbook project for one of the challenges in the June Portfolio at Sweet Shoppe. I created a layout and glued it onto a wood 8x8 frame. Different!
Our bathroom lights ~ we really need to change them one of these days. We have to unscrew half of them or else we’ll get heat stroke!
My little wire angel ~ keeping me safe in my craft space. In other words, so I don’t cut or stab myself, or run over my fingers with the sewing machine.
I’ve had a mousepad for at least 4 years that I loved ~ it was tropical and said “A bad day at the beach is better than a good day at work” (or something like that). I hated to get rid of it, but after 4 years it was looking a little really grungy. So I gave it a facelift with some fabric I had in my stash. I must say it looks a lot happier :)
I love this little big-mouth fish. He sits on my kitchen counter, ready to hold the dish scrubbie. He’s just happy that I rescued him from a garage sale.
My favorite baskets ~ I bought these a long time ago at a local craft fair. They’re perfect for the bathroom ~ one square for Kleenex, one round for hand towels. I actually took some basket classes (forever ago), and I keep thinking I should try it again. Maybe someday ….
Our crabby clock. I found this colorful crab at one of the flea markets down here and added the clock pieces. It makes a really cute clock for the bathroom.
Remember the project my hubby was working on in this post? He finished it yesterday ~ LOVE the color!
