My new phone ~ a Samsung Reclaim.  Lots of bells and whistles ~ although I have moments when I doubt my sanity because now I have to actually LEARN how to work all those bells and whistles.  Just trying to keep up with the grandkids.

So I came home from Oregon with a major cold ~ the only thing I hate about air travel.  A friend of mine told me about this thing called a neti-pot to clear out your nasal passages.  It’s a little weird, but it actually helps a LOT with the congestion.  Now if they’d only come up with something to clear out headaches :(

My son-in-law’s new workplace ~ SolarWorld ~ and the reason for the move to Oregon.  I’m sure his favorite part is that he has a 5 minute drive to work instead of the 45 minute drive he had in Michigan.

Jen’s grandmother was a very creative person ~ she’s the one who really sparked an interest in me to try and be somewhat artistic.  Jen has a couple of her pieces and this is one of my favorites.

Ready to head back home to the sunshine state.  It’s a totally different world out there in Oregon with all the houses on the hills and the mountains all around ~ love it!

I guess they don’t get to see Mt. Hood all that often here in Oregon because of the mostly cloudy days, but when it does poke out it’s really magnificent.   Too bad this photo doesn’t reflect that, but at least I got to see it before I left to go back to Florida.
